We watched the preamble and the final episode of ER tonight. 3 full hours. It's funny, during the preamble they showed a lot of ~30 second clips from old episodes and some of them made me just as emotional as the first time around. Just shows how powerful the writing was for the show. I thought it ended very well… just as it should have. That has nothing to do with my picture, unless you want me to lie and say it made me think… about… something. I thought about doing something that would fit the title "goodbye" but I couldn't come up with any ideas until I started typing this sentance (bust out my scrubs)… far too late.

I saw a portrait today that I really liked so I was attempting to emulate that, but failed (this was a safety shot, not the emulation attempt). Not that I dislike the pictures I took, but I didn't emulate the original well at all. It's very difficult to do from in front of the camera.

My package came today… I bought 2 UV filters (long overdue) and a new front-loading camera bag. We were really sick of the top-loading bag because although it technically has enough square inches for all of the accessories and lenses, getting to them all in an orderly fashion was next to impossible. So hooray for new equipment.
