Natural Habitat (73/365)

Here we have the elusive Nerd, in his natural habitat. Notice his baggy sweatpants and milky-white LCD tan. Clearly, it's mating season.

I started cleaning up my office over the weekend; and that's never a simple task. Whenever I start cleaning up my personal space, I get reminded of all the projects I want to do with the space, and start think of new ones. This weekends new projects included hanging the corner shelves to display 2/3 of my Star Wars bobble heads (the other 1/3 are at work), and moving my backgrounds up from the basement into the office and trying to rig something for them to hang in front of the closet doors.

I did manage to get the shelves up, but as you can see the tools are still on the floor; and I did go through a huge pile of boxes of junk and sort it all out — now just to dispose of the trash and recycle the boxes.

  1. Ahh to find the elusive end to the project list we accumulate. Digs are looking nice but will probably be more comfy after you do some disposing. Corner shelves look nice with the accompanying accoutriments but I've always been more practical when it comes to office fixtures. If I can't load it up with books or some other supplies I'll need close at hand then I never saw the value, but I do like what you've done.

Let me know if you're interested in any more Star Wars trinkets, I've got a few dust collectors that will some day become collectors items themselves (maybe they already are.)

    Nice printer!

Is the scout shirt a permanent fixture on the back of your chair? I have a Roger Waters concert tee on mine.

    Go nerds!

  2. The BSA shirt has become semi-permanent in that I've been too lazy to hang it back up. It's probably too wrinkly to wear again without washing, so it'll go in the laundry at some point.

I intend to hang a shelf or two over the desk for books and such at some point.
